Kingman, Arizona’s City Government
By CityBlog Kingman | December 13, 2008
We haven’t heard much about Kingman, Arizona’s city government and wonder if some of the residence might post some comments telling us what is happening at city counsel. Who was elected in the last city election? Is there a new Mayor of Kingman, Arizona? What issues is the local Council facing in 2009 that will impact Kingman?

Good Day:
Is this still a current site? I would like an audit of the City’s finances, as well as salaries for elected officials immediately. There is a jail being built but citizens are told the Parks & Recreation Dept are closing the public swimming pools EARLY in 105 degree heat on AUGUST 16th.
This is an outrage. Where is the money for the pools and lifeguard salaries going? Citizens want to know. Seniors, handicapped, old and young alike vitally need the pool to stay open for exercise and recreation during the the summer months and especially September and October. This is wonderful sober recreation. There is virtually no recreation in Kingman, yet we can afford 2 Safeways, 2 Uptown Drugs, 2 Walgreens’ a CVS Pharmacy bars , taverns and a partridge in a pear tree.
