I would like to thank Mayor Lester Byram and Council Woman Gordan for meeting with me and allowing me to present myself and my organization. I would like to encourage all Council Members to review the packet I provided. I would like the Mayor and Council to know that we had had prior approval by the City before buying since our statement of being In Home Training seemed to have been misinterpreted and the City thought we were Supported Housing that is protected under the Federal Fair Housing Act.
NAZCARE, Inc. would also like to encourage the home owners to join us in forming a neighborhood acsscoaition and bringing in Federal revitalization money - Weed & Seed money and our present qualifies more points in CDBG and CSBG grants. If not approved, we would have to become an unregulated and unsupervised Supportive Housing Residence.
Thank you so much for your efforts and your time.
